Tunisian Dinar

Tunisia officially uses the dinar as the local currency. 1 dinar is divided into 1000 millimes 

Currency regime

The dinar is managed closely against the US dollar.

Commercial rates

As at July 30th 2007, the dinar was trading around 1.28 against the dollar, 1.75 against the Euro and 2.60 against Sterling.

Tourist rates

As at July 30th 2007, the dinar was valued at around 2.47 against Sterling. For 1 pound you will, therefore get around 2.47 dinar.
